A.K. Soul are releasing their newest single "Show You Love" with remixes by Italy’s Joe T. Vannelli and DJ Dado on ICU Records in July 1998.

"Show You Love" features the divine voice of American soul legend Jocelyn Brown. After a chance meeting with Andrew Klippel in London, the two recorded "Show You Love" and then had a close friend Carmen Rizzo (Seal, Prince, Rockmelons) mix it down in Los Angeles. Then came a summer video shoot in Sydney. The end result is a classic "old school" soul track with one of the freshest videos around.

For Andrew Klippel "Show You Love" and the forthcoming A.K. Soul album "Free" are the culmination of three years spent immersed in the international music scene. After the chart topping success in Euphoria, Klippel left Australia to develop his writing and production skills. Recently he has finished work with Maxi Priest, Chaka Khan, Denise Williams, Aswad, The Rockmelons and Human Nature and also scored a Nr.3 US dance chart hit with Jaki Graham’s single "Absolute E Sensual".

"Show You Love" is Klippel’s finest track to date. "With the irresistible swing beat and Jocelyn’s uplifting vocals it is sure to supersede A.K. Soul’s previous single, the national Top 20 hit "I Like It".

If you do not know her name – and by now you’re in the minority – you know her voice. Jocelyn Brown has one of the most spine-tingling, glass shattering, powerhouse voices in the business. The lady, who have been based in England for the best part of this decade is a ubiquitous presence on the music scene.

Jocelyn’s singing career is the constant thread: when not writing and releasing her own material she is adding sparkle and gloss to other people’s work (to incalculable effect) via sampling or collaboration. To this effect Miss B’s contributions very seldom go unnoticed and should never be underestimated – she can practically stamp a song "Hit" with one trademark holler. It is Jocelyn’s effervescent combination of humility and talent, though, that makes her the unique performer she is today.

"I got the power" a sample of Jocelyn’s voice on Snap’s international NR. 1 single "The Power" totally astonished the artist herself when arriving in a club for a performance and hearing her voice repeatedly. She witnessed first-hand the audience’s response to the powerful vocals featured on this hit single. "I think it’s great that people love and use my voice" says Jocelyn, as long as I can make people happy with it" I feel like I’m doing my job".

And doing her job she is. In fact this seasoned musical veteran first gained national with the release of her debut for Warner Bros. Records, "One From The Heart" in the mid eighties. With cuts produced by Jellybean Benitez and the teams of Hubert Faves/James Batton and Russ Titleman/Rob Mounsey, the album featured eight powerful tracks including hits like "Love’s Gonna Get You" and the perennial club classic "Somebody Else’s Guy" written by Jocelyn and her sister Annette.

In spite of the acclaim gained by her hit debut album, Jocelyn remains level-headed and grateful for her musical talents. "I don’t really think about being a star", she insists, "if that’s going to happen, it’s in God’s hand’s".

However, as modest as she is, Jocelyn has established quite an impressive portfolio, working with stellar names such as Luther Vandross, Bette Midler, John Lennon, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Roberta Flack, George Benson, Teddy Pendergrass, Culture Club and many others. She has also been featured in hundred of jingles, film sound tracks and has appeared on a number of top-rated shows, including "Saturday Night Live" and "Top Of The Pops".
